After only 4 hours of sleep I got up at 7:30. We booked the Statue of Liberty Island tour which started at 9 AM. After an hot coffee from Starbucks (there are plenty of these stores in NY) we went on the ferry. There is a boat trip from Manhattan to Liberty Island. We walked around the island and took some photos from Mrs. Liberty. Contrary to the girls I and Alex could not go inside the statue.

Later on we went to Ellis Island - the former immigration point of the United States. It was not so spectacular and so we went back to Manhattan.

After lunch at Subways we visited Ground Zero and the Wallstreet. It was a beautiful day and the time went really fast. We decided to spent the sunset at the Rockefellers Center. We met Christian - my study colleague who currently works in New Jersey.

After sunset we all went to Times Square, Chinatown and Little Italia and finally reached a bar which Alex knows from his internship time in NY.
